Guided by a belief that beautiful design should be both inspiring and liveable, Daniela leads Coloured Pencil with a thoughtful, design-forward approach that balances aesthetics, functionality and emotional connection.

As founder of Casabela Interiors, Daniela became known for creating sophisticated spaces that feel effortless, welcoming and deeply considered. Today, she brings that perspective to Coloured Pencil while honouring the creative legacy and distinctive aesthetic that has defined the brand since 2003.

Rather than replacing one style with another, the coming together of Coloured Pencil and Casabela represents a thoughtful blending of perspectives, experience and creative expression.

Drawing on influences from design, art and architecture, Daniela approaches each project with curiosity and care, creating interiors that celebrate a property’s unique story while inspiring those who experience it.

Holly Dean

Senior Interior Designer

For Holly, great design lives in the details.

With a natural curiosity and an eye for the elements others often overlook, Holly approaches every project with equal parts creativity, practicality and purpose.

Drawing on her vast experience across high-end residential and commercial interiors, Holly creates spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. She is passionate about understanding how people live, work and interact within a space, carefully balancing aesthetics, flow and usability to achieve considered design outcomes.

Known for her collaborative approach and strong industry relationships, Holly works closely with clients, suppliers and project partners to bring ideas to life.

Inspired by the finer details and effortless functionality, she creates interiors that feel intuitive, enduring and thoughtfully resolved.

Alice Wade

Stylist

Refined, intuitive and effortlessly sophisticated, Alice has a talent for creating spaces that feel both elevated and inviting.

Known for her warm and engaging nature, Alice brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every project.

Drawing on experience across some of Sydney’s and London’s most respected design practices, Alice combines a strong design sensibility with an in-depth understanding of interiors, styling and high-end furnishings.

Through the careful curation of furniture, lighting, art and layered textures, she creates timeless spaces that connect emotionally while maximising a property’s appeal.

Nakayla McCowan

Administration Assistant

Precision, positivity and people-first energy are at the heart of everything Nakayla does.

Known for her friendly and bubbly nature, Nakalya helps create a seamless experience for clients while supporting the team behind the scenes.

A long-time lover of interiors, Nakayla is currently completing a Diploma of Interior Design, combining more than a decade of administrative experience with a passion for beautiful spaces.

Her keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and positive outlook make her an invaluable part of the Coloured Pencil team.

FOUNDER & Creative Advisor

The foundations of Coloured Pencil were built on Robynne’s creative vision, discerning eye and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Over more than two decades, Robynne established the business as one of Sydney’s most respected luxury styling agencies, known for its thoughtful approach, refined aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail.

While the business has entered an exciting new chapter under the stewardship of new owner, Daniela, the values and creative principles that shaped Coloured Pencil from the beginning remain firmly embedded in the brand today.

Robynne continues to contribute as Creative Advisor, providing guidance and consulting support on select projects.

Jorge Ornaghi

Project Administrator

Every successful project relies on someone who can bring order to complexity.

For Coloured Pencil, that person is Jorge.

Working behind the scenes, Jorge helps coordinate the people, processes and details that keep projects moving seamlessly from concept to completion. His meticulous approach, strong organisational skills and ability to anticipate what’s needed next provide an essential foundation for the wider team.

Known for his reliability and collaborative nature, Jorge works closely with designers, stylists and project partners to ensure every project is delivered with efficiency, consistency and attention to detail.

As key members of the Coloured Pencil team, Oswaldo and Jean ensure every project is delivered with care, efficiency and attention to detail.

Working closely with our designers and stylists, they coordinate the logistics that transform a creative vision into a beautifully presented space. Whether managing deliveries, installations or complex site requirements, their experience, professionalism and problem-solving mindset help ensure every project comes together seamlessly.
